THE BRAND
My name is Jessie, and I've been immersed in the beauty industry since I was 19 years old. My passion for beauty began in childhood, accompanying my mum to her treatments. The beauty therapist who treated my mother was not only glamorous but also a kind and inspiring individual, often allowing me to assist her. It was then that I knew I wanted to follow in her footsteps.
After completing my HSC, I pursued my passion at a private college specializing in makeup artistry and special effects, which was an incredibly enjoyable experience. I then advanced my education at an elite beauty college, earning a Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy and a Certificate II in Nails.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working at prestigious beauty salons and a health retreat. Over time, my passion for the nail industry grew stronger, especially after I had children. I became increasingly drawn to nails and decided to focus more on that side of the beauty industry.
I was never particularly fond of the acrylic system, so I sought out an alternative that would be just as effective. That's when I discovered the IBD gel system, and I instantly fell in love. After completing several of their courses, I was completely hooked.
I initially worked from home, offering nail services as a side venture. However, in 2018, I decided to see where my small business could take me, and I began selling handcrafted faux nails. The business quickly gained traction, and when the pandemic hit, the demand for faux sets skyrocketed
As my client base grew, many clients requested that I reopen my books to accept new appointments, which I did. I am incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support, as I soon found myself fully booked. With increasing referrals, I expanded my working days and hours, eventually moving from my "Harry Potter corner" under the stairs to the studio my husband built for me.
Today, I've come full circle, returning to my passion for creating handcrafted faux nails. I am deeply in love with everything nails—especially pink, glitter, and sparkles. I invite you to join me on this exciting journey.
